to rise up for God

Just came back from the CSMusic Songwriting Showcase. Was very blessed by the session. Especially through one song, "Come Home" by Benjamin Chong. :) haha it was as if God was speaking to me directly through the lyrics. Will upload once I get the lyrics. Heh.

I was blessed not just by the showcase by the 2 artists but also the fact that the local Christian music industry is really starting to fire up. Really hyped up by the fact that a lot more people are courageous enough to put themselves out there for God. And that God is opening up more and more doors for us to bring glory to Him this way!

And who wants to go to the Genesis Project????? It's gonna be the first time that a Christian songwriting festival that will be held here!! There's gonna be local bands performing (bands that perform CCM - music for the masses, without explicit Christian lyrics).

I'm super super excited that the local music scene is starting to open up!!! This could mean so much more for budding artists/bands who want to use music to speak to people about God.

And AudOne family! The Genesis Project is actually looking for bands to perform. hehehehe. I'm thinking...... just an idea to play with. hahaa...
