the dualism theory of the sacred vs. the secular

Hahaha. I can't believe that I actually forgot that I studied this in my religious studies module a year ago when we talked about this during cell just now. But the Holy Spirit was working through the article that Sharon gave to us to read, knocking down old mindsets that held onto this dualism theory between what's secular and what's Christian.

Need more time to dwell on this with God.

Feel quite tired right now. And already feeling tired thinking about tomorrow. Need to go to school to pick up something and then there's also YA Sports Day!! (thank God for good timing cos both are at NUS) WOOOOT! hahaha. Actually gotta confess. I'm not as excited as I sound. Cos need to wake up early and a day in the sun is not as fantastic as it sounds. Especially if you're not participating in any of the events. BUT... I'm glad that I can get to see the kids cos I've not seen them for 2 weeks already. Haha. God, I just pray that Lord, even as I choose to serve, that I will place the needs of the kids over my own desires. That even as I do so, I will find joy in serving. Lord, I also pray that You'll refresh my physical body and take away all tiredness so that I will be energized for everything tomorrow. Lord, I pray that You will bless us with good weather tomorrow at school, that the event will be run smoothly and that the kids will have a good time (and me too! heh!). In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
