i miss...

1) secular songs
2) singing along to secular songs.
3) singing secular songs
4) belting at the top of my lungs when I was in sec sch in my room (of course not the part where my elder sis shouts to me to knock it off)
5) feeling like I am the one who went through the experience written in the lyrics

Is it because I haven't done qt in many days? Hahaha.

But I guess a part of me just loves music. Even secular songs. Not just Christian music. And I don't mean that I am like any other person on the street who carries an iPod and pretends to be a music lover. It's sad how many people think that just because they listen to what's latest on the radio they are music lovers.

On the other hand, I guess anyone can be a music lover. Why am I being so judgmental on this? lol. haha maybe I just can't stand the pretense la. just because u carry an mp3 player and listen to it on the train, on MAX volume, doesn't mean that you actually understand what you are listening to or even that the songs you are listening to even make sense at all.

I guess that's why I don't like songs that have senseless lyrics. Which is why I love songs written in the Christian context because there's purpose and meaning in each and every single song.
