WORTH DYING FOR / HILLSONG UNITED "THE ZONE" YOUTH CONCERT '08 / LAME-O STUFF

YAYS. I've found another Christian band that I think I'm gonna really like since I discovered Starfield last month (and converted Reina to them, wahaa). Worth Dying For. I'm not kidding. Haha they are not worth dying for la. But they are WORTH DYING FOR. lol. Ok did I or did I not just contradict myself and confuse you? lol. Ok I shall stop my lame joke. Haha. The band's name is... (*drumroll please...) WORTH DYING FOR !!! (Ok I don't mean that it's worth dying to know their name.) lololol. Ok I'm being really lame. Haha.

Okok. I'm not kidding. Their name's really "WORTH DYING FOR". And good news if you are a Hillsong United or Starfield fan (hahaha I am so, good news for me!), hahaha. I love finding good music this way la. You find this really cool band which has great music and you just simply get to discover the kind of songs that they came up with and ALL the songs that they play and explore the songs one by one and get into the lyrics and find that you can really relate to what they are singing, or if not, discover the meaning behind those words and what made them write those lyrics (ok this sounds like geek-talk but it's true!).

Their genre is rock-infused, a bit indie, quite Evanescence-y, more Starfield than United, I'd say. Tons of electric. They are the worship band for Calvary Chapel (Modesto, Cali). Ooo and there's two lead vocals - the bassist, Sean Loche, and the "keytarist" (don't know if that's the right term), Christy Johnson, (who apparently is the wife of the church's pastor) and they are all in their 20s.

And talking about good bands...
I AM SUPER HYPED UP about UNITED COMING TO TOWN!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm super duper super duper happy and excited even though it's still about a month away. But anyways!! YAYS!! UNITED IS COMING!!!! New Creation is hosting it but it's gonna be in our homeground man! (I am really tempted to use "our territory" instead - home of fcbc mah... and I just did, so oh well. lol.) I'm super happy it's gonna be in Max Pavilion la! Good sound system guaranteed. And tons of space to jump (I hope) and sing for God. Yays! Hope that most of the main band's gonna be there, or better yet, maybe Joel Houston will come. May 24th here we come!! Thanks to Huiming for the tix!! And quite a few of us going - happy that I got more ppl from our G12 to go with! (yays! jo, huiming, reina, huiting! whoooooopeeee!!)

Was studying at T2's Starbucks with Reina this morning and had a delicious cup of caramel macchiato. Super nice la. I'm not a big fan of coffee (trust me. I only like the aroma of coffee.) but the coffee becomes heaven when you add in steamed milk foam and caramel (neither am I a big fan of caramel). The caramel just neutralizes the bitter sourish aftertaste of the coffee. slurrrrp.

Haha was being bo liao after studying and getting lost in the inner workings of the warped minds of the good people who love debating about free will vs. unconsciousness so much but Reina Lee was all the time super focused studying for her advertising mod la. I find it rather amusing when people walk by and give us the "eh-got-two-exactly-the-same-white-laptops-with-the-apple-logo-side-by-side-leh!" face.

Argh. 7 days left to exams. Argh.
