Left the house ard 12pm to get to Woodlands. Met Joanna at Woodlands MRT to go get all the foodstuff for dinner at Sharon's. Hahah. We had a fun time at NTUC in Woodlands Civic Centre.
This is Jo holding a watermelon, posing next to the bananas. We were trying to pick out a watermelon but we both realized that we were both the wrong people to do grocery shopping cos neither of us knows how to pick fresh fruits/foodstuff. The modern woman syndrome. LOL. So we decided to pray right there on the spot that the first watermelon that we picked would be fresh. HAHAHAA. And then when the fruit was cut open at Sharon's, it really turned out to be fresh and sweet!!! Thank God. Hahahahaa.
In case you were wondering what these umbrella-like things are, they are... the remnants of (starting from the left), a radish, a cucumber and a carrot. They are so cute lah! haahah. They were grinded by this machine to get the long strips that you see in the yu sheng dish. Jo was absolutely fascinated by these umbrellas.
Sharon did all these. Haha it looks so pretty la!
Had a nice dinner with my G12 sisters and a few Vietnamese friends. Got to know Jo better from the shopping trip. She's like super super funny. Hahaha. Tiring day but very fun. And saw many of Sharon's travel photos. I really admire Sharon for her cooking skills, her leadership skills, her patience, her gregariousness. Most of all, her conviction in what God has done in her life. All of which comes from God. 20 years of serving in FCBC. I wonder what I would be in 20 years' time.
Haha and I realized that taking photos in supermarkets is a good idea cos the lighting in supermarkets is superb!!! Look at these photos I took of Reina in Cold Storage at Taka in June last year. We were there to get BBQ stuff for Jang & Yoke Yeong's birthday celebration.
